2023 Original Comments:
After a series of splits, EPs and singles throughout the early 2020s, Harrison Gordon finally unleashes their first LP onto the world. Heavily Pop-Punk inspired, the band is very reminiscent of acts such as Modern Baseball. They aren’t treading any new ground, but it’s still a pretty good listen.
2026 Addendum:
The double disrespect of underrating this originally and listlessly comparing them to Modern Baseball is one of the reasons I wanted to re-rate 2023. This first album from the band is the culmination of years of releases and refining their sound. The music is endlessly energetic and sardonic to a ludicrous degree, all mixed together with dirty recordings and messy songwriting to perfect this potent DIY cocktail.
